While speaking to Sky Sports Football, England international Kane hailed Muller as a legend of the game and praised his impact both on and off the pitch at Bayern. After falling down the pecking order at Bayern, Muller was recently informed that he would not be offered a new contract to stay at the club beyond this season. The veteran forward has attracted interest from clubs in the Premier League and Serie A, although a move to MLS appears most likely. Bayern's title celebrations also centred around Muller's exit, with fans and players paying tribute to the club legend as he prepares to depart this summer.

WHAT HARRY KANE SAID

Kane said: "He is a fantastic person. We know he is a legend of the game here in Germany. He is also one of the biggest footballers to play. His personality is what everyone loves. He has been a big part of my two years here (in Bayern). Of course, we are all going to miss him. We are going to miss his personality, him playing on the pitch. We just want to enjoy these moments together."

Kane also revealed that this German counterpart will be a part of the FIFA Club World Cup, which is set to commence on June 14 in the United States. Kane added: "He is not someone who gets too emotional. He wants to get on with things. We have the Club World Cup, he'll be there. It's not quite a goodbye yet. But of course, he should celebrate this more than anyone. He has been a huge part of the success here in the last 15 years, and he should enjoy it."
